Who we are
ByteWorthy LLC ("ByteWorthy," "we," "us") operates the website at byteworthy.io and provides custom software development, AI automation, and boilerplate products. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit our site, purchase our products, or engage our services.
Information we collect
Website visitors. We collect standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use Vercel Analytics in cookieless mode for aggregate traffic metrics. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Contact and sales inquiries. When you submit a contact form, purchase a boilerplate, or join a waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide in the message. We use Resend for transactional email delivery.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe provides us with limited transaction data (amount, date, email) for order fulfillment and accounting.
Service engagements. If you hire us for a custom build, we may access your systems, data, and infrastructure as described in the project scope and any applicable Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for healthcare clients.
How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Process orders and deliver boilerplate products
- Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, waitlist updates)
- Monitor site performance and fix errors
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data we process on behalf of clients
When we build or operate a system for a client, any data flowing through that system belongs to the client, not to us. We access client systems only as needed to provide the contracted services. For healthcare clients, our obligations are governed by the applicable BAA and HIPAA requirements, not this privacy policy.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for 90 days. Contact form submissions are retained for 2 years or until you request deletion. Transaction records are retained for 7 years per tax requirements. Client project data is retained per the project agreement and deleted within 30 days of project completion unless otherwise agreed.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing scale@getbyteworthy.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party processors:
- Vercel and hosting and analytics
- Stripe and payment processing
- Resend and transactional email
- Supabase and database and auth for boilerplate products
- Google Calendar and meeting scheduling
Each processor maintains its own privacy policy and security practices. We vet all processors before use.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
